For people who have followed the career of South Border, it is no secret that Tata is a "bass god".

Even Verdin White of EWF was blown away with Tata's performance last February 24 at the Temple Bar in Santa Monica. Tata never had a formal training with guitar. It was a natural marriage for him and his bass. To further learn more about the craft he has chosen, Tata also chose to be a part time music instructor at the Pacific Center for the Performing Arts in Glendora, CA.

"I also learn from the students I teach and I think this job makes the my career even more fulfilling."

Tata shared some original compositions in South Border's album namely Pilgrims and Seven Days to name a few.

SHARON INDUCTIVO.












Sharon, the lady behind the lyrics that touched the hearts of milions of South Border fans, wrote the words for monstrous hits like "Rainbow", "Asa (Hope)", and "Once Again" to name a few. A dentist turned band manager and later became a songwriter, how does a single lady like Ron come up with the words for such beautiful love songs?

"There is so much love around me," says Sharon. Coming from a closely-knit family with six sisters and one brother, Ron has witnessed so much love in her family as well as seeing her love ones in pain during times of tribulations. But Sharon had experienced her own love and pain in life which molded her to become a better person and a gifted song writer.

Her working relationship with South Border's Jay Durias is a winning combination. Being Jay's sister-in-law probably helped that every time they work on a song together, it's always a hit. "I can also write songs for other artists". Sharon wrote the lyrics to No Regrets, a song recorded by singer/actor Piolo Pascual. She's currently working on new songs that have meaningful message to the whole world. "I do not specialize only in love songs", Sharon smiles. Oh, that has been proven by millions of downloads and album sales the song Rainbow had created. The public is definitely looking forward to hear more songs penned by Sharon Inductivo.

Butch first strummed the guitar when he was twelve and was a professional musician at fourteen. At the beginning of his teenage life, he enjoyed playing with different musicians and earning from the craft he is passionate about. Aside from playing the guitar, Butch has found his talent for songwriting. In South Border's previous album The Way We Do, Butch composed the music for Will You Feel The Same and in their recent album Episode III, Butch penned the music for the hit single Better Man, which also became an all-time favorite in the top pop stations in Metro Manila.
"We've been here in the U.S. for only two months and I think I'm still adjusting. Not only with the weather but with the way of life. " Butch may have all those years of professional experience in music but learning has always been in his master plan. In a few months he would like to look into enrolling in one of the finest Music Schools in the United States and explore more about songwriting.

Ric Junasa.
The guy who always provided that sexy melody in every South Border song. Even when South Border was at the peak of their career in the Philippines, Ric still managed to finish his course at the University of the Philippines. It earned him a Music Certification major in Saxophone. "I had a chance to share my knowledge in music and inspire young children to enjoy and love music by teaching the students of Sunnydale Prepatory School", says Ric. He always enjoyed spending time with kids and being able to teach kids about music.
