The SB there means SB's music. So it's sort of a "JayD brings the music of SB" show.

SOUTH BORDER BULLETIN.
Hello everyone,
We just have a few announcements and updates to share with you so I thought I would just combine them all in one so you will not be getting different emails from us. On behalf of everyone in the SOUTH BORDER family, I would just like to extend our sincerest gratitude for everyone's love and support of SOUTH BORDER. We feel very blessed to have you guys in our corner. I thank you for taking the time to read this bulletin and please feel free to send us a message if you have any questions. Take care and God bless!
Thank you,
Rodrigo Gayta
Road/Tour Manager
SOUTH BORDER MANAGEMENT
*SEPT. 29 SHOW W/ HOWARD HEWITT RECAP
SOUTH BORDER'S show last Saturday September 29 at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, California with the legendary Howard Hewitt was a success. The attendance could have been better, but the reception of the crowd was unbelievable. 90% of the 2,000 capacity venue were NON Filipinos. We're talking about people who have never seen or heard of SOUTH BORDER. They jammed and grooved to songs like Love of My life and the new single "Your Space." SOUTH BORDER got great responses after each song. The crowd did not want the band to stop singing and demanded for more. THAT IS NOT A PUBLICITY STUNT EITHER, BUT THE TRUTH. It is such a great blessing to know that SOUTH BORDER'S stock in the mainstream community is rising. Ric, Jay, Tata, Butch & Paul held their own and just took the crowd's breath away. Special shout outs to our label mate Zuri, Slapbak, Hollywood All Starts and Howard Hewitt for all giving such great performances. Special thanks to Kevin Nash from KJLH for pumping up SOUTH BORDER.
*SPECIAL THANKS FROM BUTCH AND PAUL
We would just like to extend our warmest thanks for everyone who offered their condolences and prayers after the death of our fathers. Being away from home made it very tough, but we found comfort and strength thru the Lord and all of you. The months of July and August were very tough for us and the whole band, but our faith in God and the love of our fans got us thru and for that we thank you. We want you all to know that we both have peace of minds knowing our dads are in a better place now watching over us. Our deepest gratitude to all of you. May God bless each and everyone of you.
Sincerely,
Paul Benitez

The Better Than Life Project.
Image snatched from Daphne Toledo (w/o her permission
thanks and sorry, Daph!
).THE BETTER THAN LIFE PROJECT was conceived and produced by the prolific musician/songwriter Bebo Bharwani, featuring all his original lyrics and music. The album is highlighted by superb performances from the country's eminent artists such as Top Suzara, Jay Durias, Barbie Almalbis, Pido Lalimarmo, Noah Krishna, Chedi Fidel, Naldy Gonzales, Radah Tinsay and Mike Luis.
All the proceeds of the THE BETTER THAN LIFE PROJECT will be donated to the Reach Youth Ministries, a non-profit organization that reaches out to the street children of Metro Manila and other cities. They provide food, shelter, education and spiritual guidance -- all to give these children a better chance at life.
The song "Wake Up and Dream" features our kuya JayD on keys and vocals, kuya Tata on bass.
I don't know if it's available everywhere (i checked 3 different record bars but they don't have this precious thing) but i'm sure you can find it in Praise, Inc. stores like House of Praise (there's one or two in Megamall located in level 4 and a small store near the skating rink).
It's only P250 and it's for a good cause.-Daphne Toledo
SBST Leader
