SB visits a school for Autistic Children in Seattle.

Okay, so this is an overdue post. I've been busy and I actually thought that I've already made a post on this... Anyway, Just enjoy the photos! ;-)

Seattle, Washington
October 6, 2006

South Border spent a meaningful afternoon with children suffering from developmental disorders also known as AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS.

What is Austism?

Autism, sometimes called "classical autism", is the most common condition in a group of developmental disorders known as the Austism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).

Autism is characterized by impared social interaction, problems with verbal and nonverbal communication, an unusual, repetitive, or severely limited activities and interests.

Experts estimate that three (3) to six (6) children out of every 1,000 will have autism. Males are four times more likely to have autism than females.
